Creating a Classic
with Kinfolk

To help reintroduce a capsule of vintage adidas footwear silhouettes in 2018, we set out to idetify people in the design and fashion fields to help us explore the idea of what “classic” means to them.

We sat down with the people behind Kinfolk to discuss their business, the community of people that have formed around it, and what they think about things that are considered classics that withstand the test of time.

The short film we created lived for a time on i-D magainze online, and on adidas Originals social channels.

To culminate this collaboration we helped Kinfolk host an indigo dyeing workshop on a rainy January weekend where friends & family were gifted SC Premiers and t-shirts to customize.
